Maori orientation at M.I.T
So I went to the Maori orientation tonight at M.I.T, it was interesting considering that M.I.T have no more courses in the Maori department as of December 2009.
It was great to see alot of whanau coming out to see what M.I.T offer in support of Maori. The staff are fantastic. I have been at M.I.T for 2 years now and I have really enjoyed my time there. I will be sooooo happy when I have finished at the end of this year! Yay go me!
I will be entering the Public Relations industry and what I have noticed is the lack of Maori and Pacific people in this industry.
This makes me feel really excited about the opportunities open to me being 1. Maori 2. A woman and 3. Having a wealth of life experience behind me.
I can not wait to get into the industry and kick some P.R butt!
I am looking for as much work experience as I can get .
